It can't be denied that the English Premier League is the most popular football league out there which has caught the eye of many investors especially the rich among billionaires across the globe. About half of the club is owned by local billionaires as well as foreign billionaires.
Some of you might be eager and curious to know who those names might be and to be honest some of the names might be the billionaires that you have heard of before, perhaps the person is also living in your country.
12. Everton FC: Farhad Moshiri ($1.9 billion)
This man right here is from Iran and his age is 65 years old. He is involved in the investment of mining and he is an immigrant who moved to Britain and gains citizenship there. He managed to start a very successful business empire with a friend of his named Alisher Usmanov.
Before he owned Everton, he was also a major shareholder in the football club Arsenal.
11. Liverpool FC: John Henry ($2.7 Billion)
The man who happens to be the best stock trader out there is from the United States and currently aged 70 years old. He however became quite interested in the sports industry and decided to also get involved.
He currently owned the best football club in the English Premier League, Liverpool. Aside from that he also owned other sports clubs back in the US.

Some of you might have heard of SportsDirect before right? Well, the famous sports retail is currently owned by this man right here and he's from Great Britain.
Despite having a strong financial status, the club under him is currently struggling to make it to the top of the league due to not having a strong strategic plan. Rumour has it that the club is going to be bought by the prince of Saudi Arabia.

This very young entrepreneur aged 35 years old is from the region of South East Asia, Thailand. He and his family owned a business in the tourist industry known as King Power. After his father Vichai passed away 2 years ago due to a helicopter accident, this famous football club was also inherited by him and his family.
In the year 2015, this club comes as a surprise when they managed to get their hands on the trophy of the EPL reign as champions.

He is the founder of a popular investment company in the United States called Apollo Global Management and currently aged 55 years old.
He did not just own Crystal Palace but also other sports club back in the US together with his business partner David S. Blitzer who own some of the big names there.

Joe Lewis aged 83 years old belong to a wealthy family that used to be in the hospitality industry back in the 1970s before he changed his career as a forex investor in 1980. He is currently a trader together with his friend George Soros.
Lately, the club Tottenham Hotspur managed to step up the game and became one of the top clubs in the league regardless of not frequently making purchases of players.

The family has a long history of being involved in businesses such as real estate and health insurance.

He is probably the only one on the list who happens to be Chinese and currently ages 53 years old. He owns one of the most popular conglomerate companies in China called Fosun Internation Limited. He is also well known as the China version of Warren Buffet.
Ever since Fosun Internation Limited took over the club in 2016, Wolverhampton managed to climb from the second division to the first division of the EPL

Stan who is involved in the real estate business is an American who is aged 73 years old. He got married to the nephew of Sam Walton the founder of the biggest retail shop in the world, Walmart.
Things did not go well for Arsenal in recent years as they did not manage to be at the top of the premier league and only played in the Champions League second division. One of the reasons for the club's lack of performance is the lack of investment made by Kroenke into Arsenal.

He is a well-known oil tycoon from Russia aged 53 years old. Aside from that, he is also the trigger for the phenomenon of buying clubs in the EPL.
Chelsea is also known for being the club with the most managers in the EPL. Due to that, the success of this club on the domestic level is just astonishing. This happens because Roman is very assertive in that he will simply fire the managers who he felt were not bringing success to the club he owns.
1. Manchester City: Sheikh Mansour($30 Billion)
He belongs to the royal family of the UAE and is currently aged 49 years old. He is considered the biggest investor of the club Manchester City until the club managed to become the top football club in the EPL in just a short amount of time.
With strong finance as well as good strategies, Manchester City definitely became one of the favorite clubs for many investors out there.
