5. Sao Paulo - Brazil(264 meters)
From the year 1963 until 2000, the French naval army owned 2 warships known as Clemenceau Class. When the French started to make new changes, one of their ships was set aside and sold to Brazil in the year 2000 for the bargain price of 12 million USD.
The warship was also then renamed by the Brazilian government to Sao Paulo. After the ship was bought, it underwent many tweaks and improvements which includes both of the side decks, its engines, sensor, and lastly the defense system.
Even though the ship changed ownership, the French are still giving many improvements to the ship to make it the Great Sao Paulo. The ship is capable of occupying 30 fighter jets at one time in preparation for any War it might encounter.
4. INS Vikramaditya - India(283 meters)
Some might not believe that India is also at the top of this list. INS Vikramaditya is a warship owned by the Indians and it happens to be the 4th largest warship in the world with a length of 283 meters.The Original name for INS Vikramaditya happens to be Baku. The name Baku came from the Soviets back in 1987 when the Russians owned the warship. Due to the financial crisis and the Soviets being unable to bear the expenses, the ship was then put into auction for sale.
The government of India decided to buy Baku in 2004 by spending $2.3 billion USD if the Soviets will help India to do some modifications to the warship. Both countries came to an agreement and the modification process ended in 2013 and it officially became India's government property.

The name was then changed to INS Vikramaditya and the warship is capable of carrying 36 jet fighters.
3. Liaoning - China (304 meters)
It seems that the Russian has made most of the biggest warship in the world and that includes this one too. Before this mighty warship was owned by the Chinese government, it was first owned by the Russian named, Riga. In the 1990s Riga changed its name to Varyag.Due to the budget deficit and Varyag was considered a burden to the country's economy, therefore the Russian government decided to sell it off. This Russian warship was then bought by a Chinese businessman in 1998 with a hefty price of $20 million USD.
It was later on transferred to the Chinese Navy and in 2012 the name Varyag has changed again to Liaoning. Liaoning happened to be the first warship ever owned by the Chinese Navy. The warship is fully equipped with anti-missile, jet fighters, and enemy submarines.
2. Admiral Kuznetsov - Russia (305 meters)
With a length of up to 305 meters, this Russian warship is the second-biggest warship in the world and it is still being used to this date. It was given the name Admiral Kuznetsov Class and it is fully prepared with high-tech weapons to be either on the offensive or defensive.
The weapons include several long-range missiles as well as anti-submarine. Due to these amazing features, it is considered the strongest warship to ever exist in this world. It was also the first warship to ever be built by the Russians since 1990 when their warship was sold to the Chinese government.

The ship can set sail in the ocean by carrying as many as 39 jet fighters and several helicopters.

As of writing, this mighty warship is the biggest warship in the world with an estimated length of 332 meters. The warship which was named Nimitz Class is owned by Uncle Sam country, the United States of America.
Not just that it is the biggest in the world but Nimitz Class is also the most expensive warship to ever be built with a staggering price of $4.5 billion USD. As of now, The US-owned has 10 of these aircraft carriers.
Nimitz class is capable of holding 85-90 jet fighters far much more than any warship out there. It is also well equipped with missiles and sophisticated weapons in order for it to protect itself from enemies.
This warship was also used to aid in Aceh where the tsunami took place in 2004 and the earthquake in Tahiti in 2010. However, the US is not going to stop there as they will be building another warship called Gerald R. Ford Class. This warship will be even bigger with a higher price tag ranging from $7 - 12 billion USD.
