World's Fastest Internet Speed Ever Recorded

When it comes to internet speed pretty much most of us wish to have the fastest available ones out there for our daily needs. However, there are some facilities out there that managed to surpass the speed that most of us wished we could get access to. That country will be Japan.

Japan is well-known for being a country with vast development of technology to the extent that other countries have put up Japan as a standard for technology. Fast internet speed is something that has been experienced by the Japanese for a long time now.
Recently, we have all been surprised by the news that researchers from the National Institute of Information and Communication of Japan have reported a breaking record of internet speed after they have successfully transferred data at a rate of 319 terabytes (TB)/s.

This shocking news has proven that the current record is two times faster compared to the previous record-holder which was around 178TB/sec by engineers from Japan and the United States.
Not just that but the current speed was able to be achieved after going through the latest technology of optical fiber. The optical fiber being used here is very different from the ones that we usually used in our homes.
NICT researchers informed that there are as many as 552 laser channels that are reflected at various waves through an amplifier which is produced from a mix of the earth's minerals that are difficult to be obtained so that the speed that no one has ever reached can be achieved.

Through the tests that have been conducted in their labs, researchers have run a process of repeated transfer of data going at the distance of 3001 km without experiencing any loss of signal or speed.

The milestone that has been reached by NICT is definitely remarkable and this can be seen as a set point for other countries out there to provide a better experience of internet speed for public use as well as the economic sector in the future.

Japan has not failed to impress as they are also the first country to have achieved the fastest 5G internet speed in the world.
