6. Lurssen Custom KISMET ($195 million)

Lürssen shipyard or Lürssen Werft is the company responsible for building this mega cruise ship in 2014 with a length of 312 feet. Moran Yacht & Ship worked together with Lürssen to create this ship with the exterior being designed by Espen Oeino and the interior by Reymond Langton Design.

This cruise ship is known by the name KISMET which has 8 cabin rooms including the main room with a private deck, jacuzzi, and a helipad. It is also equipped with a swimming pool, spa, and many more.

5. Benetti Custom Motoryacht ($202 million)

This cruise ship which was specially designed by Benetti was built in 2019 with its exterior being designed by RWD. Benetti took part in the inside by making it look like a posh seaside house and bringing the holiday experience on top of the ship.

Standing at 354 feet, this is the longest cruise ship Benetti has ever built. The boat is equipped with its own saloon, gymnasium, swimming pool, open diner, a place to chill, a firepit, and many other facilities.

4. Shatoosh 2022 Yacht ($213 million)

A shipyard based in Germany is currently building Shatoosh to be sold in 2022 and currently is the most expensive one in the market at $213,629,813. It is a mega cruise ship with a length of 331 feet and was designed based on the H2 Shatoosh.

Eclipse is also another german made cruise ship built by Blohm Voss and happens to be one of the biggest ones on this list with a staggering length of 533 feet(fourth biggest in the world). The businessman Roman Abramovich bought this cruise ship in 2010 at a price of $590 million and as of today, the ship costs almost $690 million.

As a privately owned cruise ship, Eclipse has many unique features including two helipads, 2 pools as well as a disco room. Eclipse is also equipped with a mini-submarine that can submerge until 50 meters deep(160 feet).

2. Azzam ($600 million)

Azzam ship is the biggest one on this list with a length of 590 feet. It was first launched in 2013 and was designed by Nauta Design which made the ship looks wealthy and speedy. Stuart Hughes is the person behind the creation of History Supreme, a boat that is totally covered in platinum and shiny gold. An unknown businessman from Malaysia bought History Supreme at a whopping price of $4.8 billion.

It took 3 years for it to be fully completed and it includes 220,462 pounds of pure steel to close every inch of the outside and inside of the boat. Some believed that it is owned by the Malaysian business tycoon, Robert Kuok.
