7. Air Jordan 12 Flu Game ($104,765)

The black and red Air Jordan 12 that was worn by Jordan in the fifth game of the final round 1997 is well known to commemorate his 'Flu Game'. This shoe was sold by Preston Truman in an auction at a starting price of $5000. After 15 consecutive bids, it successfully sold at the price of $104,765.

The winner of the auction will not only get the two shoes that were signed by Michael Jordan but also the black socks that were worn by him.

It was called the 'Flu Game' because Michael Jordan was not in his best health while having flu during a match between Utah Jazz and Chicago Bulls.

6. Air Jordan 11 'Space Jam' Shoe Sample ($176,400)

This Air Jordan 11 which is more known as a sample shoe for 'Space Jam' was sold in the Sotheby's auction on July 2021 for the staggering price of $176,400. It is the same shoe worn by Jordan in the Looney Tunes 1996  film, Space Jam.

Even though this is the shoe that was given, it has never been worn. For that, it is considered new and in very good condition. Not just that but Michael Jordan also signed the shoe at the tip of the left shoe.

This shoe was sold in a special box made from velvet cloth and wood on which the Tune Squad logo from the film is written on it.

5. Michael Jordan Rookie Air Jordan 1 ($350,000)

The Michael Jordan sneakers Rookie Air Jordan 1 can be yours to own if you have the money for it that is. The enlistment of this shoe on eBay clearly confirmed that it has never been worn as well as being signed by Jordan on the soles.

This size 12 shoe is kept in its original color scheme Chicago Bulls and can be bought at a whopping price of $350,000. The shoe itself is not suitable for Jordan since he is a size 13 and 13.5 depending on the match being played.

4. Nike Air Jordan 1 High 'Chicago' Sneaker ($615,000)

In 1985, only after 1 year after signing the most profitable agreement for Nike, Michael Jordan wore this Nike Air Jordan 1 in the Chicago Bulls game. This shoe with a size 13.5 has appeared in the Christie's auction in New York City in which it can be obtained for $615,000, a new record for Air Jordan at the time.

Not only that this shoe has been confirmed to be worn during the game but it is also signed by Jordan like other shoes on this list. It was said that the shoe was designed by Peter Moore who revolutionized the Air Jordan brand that has its own unique features that remain to this day.

3. Michael Jordan's Nike Air Ships ($1,472,000)

Strangely enough, the 3rd shoe on this list is the most expensive Air Jordan worn by Jordan himself. This shoe was worn by Jordan during the Bulls 1984 match and was sold in an auction on October 2021 with a price of $1.472 million. This made this shoe the most expensive sports shoe to ever be sold in an auction.

The year 1984 marks the first year Michael Jordan sign the agreement with Nuke to create a line of Air Jordan shoes. This means that this shoe is considered the most vintage Air Jordan shoe of them all.

2. Kanye West's Nike Air Yeezy ($1,800,000)

Unlike other Jordans, this one is sold in Sotheby's private auction in April 2021. It is a bit different than other expensive Jordan and this shoe is truly the most expensive sports shoe ever sold in all types of sports.

Nike Air Yeezy 1 is a prototype worn by Kanye West for the 2008 Grammy where he was invited to put up a show. This sneaker sample shoe was sold for $1.8 million.

1. OVO Air Jordans ($2,100,000)

This will be the most expensive Air Jordan ever sold and it is the Solid Gold OVO Air Jordans. OVO which is the line of Drake's clothing aka 'October's Very Own', in collaboration with Nike to create this golden Air Jordan. 

Every shoe has a weight of almost 50 pounds comprising 224 solid gold which was designed by the artist, Matthew Senna. Drake requested the making of this shoe in 2016 and paid $2.1 million for its creation.

Matthew Senna recreated the Air Jordan 10s for this sculpture which is considered as having the most unique decoration yet. This is one of the Air Jordan shoes on this list that cannot be worn.
