The Ankara Bilkent City Hospital is the fifth biggest hospital in the world with a capacity of 3,810 beds. It was officially opened on 14 March 2019 and this full-service hospital is located in Bilkent, Cankaya the capital city of Turkey, Ankara.

As the biggest hospital in the country, it covers an area of 0.18 square km and has 131 operating rooms, 1554 single beds, 725 double beds, 904 polyclinics, 82 VIP rooms, and 700 ICUs.

This hospital is a part of the hospital network of Chang Gung Medical Foundation. It was initially established in 1978 and Chang Gung Hospital emphasizes on several medical facilities.

The hospital is known for receiving more than 8,2 million outpatients, 2.4 million inpatients, and 167,460 surgeries each year. Chang Gung is well known for successfully solving more than 1,000 heart transplant operations.

3. National Center For Mental Health (4,200 Beds)

The National Center For Mental Health in the Philippines is the third largest hospital in the world with 4,200 beds available. This psychiatric hospital which was recognized by PhilHealth spread over 47 hectares of land in the city of Mandaluyong, the capital city of the Philippines.

This hospital starts its operation on 17 December 1928 to cater to several mentally-ill patients as well as other patients experiencing nervous system-related issues which were previously treated in two other hospitals - Sanitarium General Hospital and San Lazaro Hospital.

1. First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University (7,000 Beds)

The First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University is the biggest in the world with a whopping capacity of 7,000 beds. This hospital contributed an annual revenue of more than 7.5 billion Yuan.

It was first established in September 1928 in the city of Henan, China which was the ancient city of Kaifeng and at the time it was a merged hospital of Henan University of Chinese Medicine. In 1958, this hospital was moved to the capital city of Henan Province which is now known as Zhengzhou.

It was then renamed to First Affiliated Hospital of Henan Medical College. With the support of the central government, Henan Medical University, Zhengzhou University, and Zhengzhou Technology Institute merged and renamed as First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University.

As of now, this institution is the biggest type 3/Grade A hospital in China that integrates medical treatment and scientific research which offers the highest standard of medical care.
