Dolls are generally made with unique and cute designs to get the attention of children as they play with them. Many children will make dolls as their companions or imaginary best friends as they went through childhood full of happiness and joy.

However, there are certain dolls out there that are not made in such a way by having one of the worst horrific designs to the extent that some believed that they are cursed and full of bad luck.

5. Little Miss No Name

The Little Miss No Name doll was made by the Hasbro toy company in 1965. The production of this doll won the hearts of many children in the world but it was seen as something strange that has never been done before by Hasbro.

It is common to see Hasbro making cute Barbie dolls that are full of decent clothes and toy houses. But this time, it is quite the opposite as the Little Miss No Name does not have any accessories that come with it and in fact, looked as if a panhandler begging for money.

Shain made the doll a state of the art. Despite its scary look, many people still loved to own a doll like Cecilia. It is a perfect toy to have if you are fashioning up as a zombie, ghost, mummy, monster or even bare skeleton.

It was once owned by Robert Eugene Otto, an artist. The doll was also named after the owner, Robert and it was said to be a gift from a slave family in 1906. The slave was also a master in witchcraft and black magic who wish to destroy Robert Eugene's life and his family.

This is another unique doll with some dark history behind it. This doll features a thin and smooth eyebrow with bright red lips that were said to be passed down by generations from the mother to her daughter.

It was believed to be owned by a woman named Anna and the scary part about Joliet is that it is a doll that will curse every child that will give birth to 2 children. The daughter will be the heir to such a curse while the son is said to have a fate of his own which is inevitable death after 3 days of being born.

However, some believed that the boy's death was not in vain as his spirit will enter and live in Joliet while crying at night time. If this story was true then that is one unfortunate way to live your life.

1. Annabelle

As some of you might have expected, Annabelle tops the list of the scariest dolls in the world and if you have seen the movie, you will know why that is. The story of Annabelle is somewhat based on a true story even before the film was even made.

Annabelle is said to move to different places when the owner which is an engineer name Donna is out of the house. According to Donna, she once witnessed the doll moving to different places while she was inside the house.

She will get something that was written on a piece of paper as if it was a message from Annabelle. On the paper, it states, "Help us!". Donna even claimed that she once saw blood dripping out of Annabelle's chest and the back of her head.
