Top 7 Tallest Trees In The World

Mankind's greed has led to the development of big cities as we witness mass deforestation across the globe. Aside from that, agricultural activities have also caused many trees to be cut down to make way for the plantation of food.

What we have seen so far is very worrying and yet something that is inevitable. Trees serve the purpose of wildlife habitat and a place to shed for the animals. It will take a very long time to restore the trees in a rainforest and it is dreadful to see them being cut down in a blink of an eye.

Despite all of that, there are still many trees in parts of Asia and South America that are home to some of the oldest forests in the world such as the Royal Belom Rainforest. Here we would like to share with you the top 7 tallest trees in the world that will make us humans look tiny in comparison.

The tree that was given the name, White Knight is located in Tasmania, Australia. It is a tree belonging to the Manna gum species which is generally small in size. Its scientific name will be Eucalyptus viminalis Labill.

6. Sequoia (California, United States) - 95.7 Meters

This particular tree does not have a specific name like others on this list but it belongs to the Sequoia species. The tree's volume can be calculated by multiplying its diameter by the height of the tree.

This tree was found and measured in 2013 with a height of 95.7 meters. To protect this tree, many researchers have kept the exact location of the tree a secret.

5. Raven's Tower (California, United States) - 96.7 Meters
