Still operational in China, the Fuxing Hao Cr400AF is one of the fastest trains in the world with a top speed of 418 km/h(260 miles/h). It is also known as the Dolphin Blue and can occupy a full capacity of 556 passengers on board.
It travels from south Beijing to the Hongqiao station, Shanghai with an estimated travel time of only 5 hours.
7. Hemu-430X (South Korea)
Hemu-430X is a South Korean-operated bullet train that was made in 2010. This train can reach a top speed of 430 km/h(267 miles/h) and is the country's proud technology.
The train was produced by Hyundai Rotem with an estimated value of $79.69 million. The Hemu-430X has comprised 6 carriages along its 484 feet train that can fill 381 passengers.
6. Shanghai Maglev (China)
Another bullet train owned by the Chinese and this one in particular is slightly fast with a top speed of 431km/h(268 miles/h). The sixth fastest train in the world is also the third fastest one in China.

The 5th fastest train in the world will be the CRH380A Hexie and it is another proud product of the Chinese. This Chinese-made train was completed in 2010 and can achieve a maximum speed of 486 km/h(302 miles/h).
This bullet train is unlike others as it has a long length of 1,000 feet. However, it typically can fit 494 passengers carrying them on the Shanghai-Nanjing route.
4. TGV POS (France)
This is the only European train on the list with France dominating the speed chart. The speed of the train can reach a whopping 575 km/h(357 miles/h) which carries all its passengers not only within the country but also all over Europe.
