Ellesmere Island is a huge island that is found in the Arctic Circle. The mountain system of Artic Cordillera covers a huge part of the respective island making it an island full of mountains for you to climb on in the Canadian Arctic Archipelago.

With that being said, it is not a conducive environment for humans to inhabit here. It has a very small population of only 146 people making it one of the biggest islands in the world with the least amount of people.
