5. Jumeirah Emirates Towers Hotel (309 Meters)

Jumeirah Emirates Towers Hotels or also known as the Emirates Tower Two is a 56-story building located in Dubai. This hotel has a height of 309 meters(1,014 ft) and was officially completed in 2009.

It offers 40 room service for the visitors to stay and the rest are mostly office rooms. On the 54th floor, there is a bridge that connects the twin towers beside it known as the Emirates Office Tower.

4. Burj Al Arab (321 Meters)

The Burj Al Arab hotel sits at 4th place on this list and it is a luxury hotel placed on a man made island approximately 280 meters from Jumeirah beach. This island connects to the mainland through a specialized bridge.

The design of the hotel resembles a sailing ship that is also equipped with a helipad at a height of 210 m from sea level. Despite standing tall at 321 m(1,053 ft), there are only 28 floors with 202 rooms that can be occupied.

3. Rose Rayhaan (333 Meters)

Rose Rayhaan or also known as Rose Tower is the third tallest hotel in the world at a height of 333 meters(1,093 ft). The construction of the hotel was initially started in 2004 before it was officially opened in 2009.

The hotel comprised 72 floors and has around 462 rooms available. You can also try out the restaurants and cafes by the hotel that operates 24 hours. Interestingly, this hotel is among the earliest hotel in Dubai that is free from alcoholic drinks.

2. JW Marruott Marquid Dubai (355 Meters)

This hotel previously holds the record for the tallest hotel in the world before the Gevora hotel was completed in 2017. It is owned by the Emirates Group and has a height of 355 meters(1,165 ft).

This hotel was originally built as a single building before another one was added right beside it making it a twin-building hotel. Overall, this 5-star hotel has 1,608 rooms across 77 stories high, a banquet hall, an auditorium, 19 restaurants, 18 fruit stalls, and a spa.

1. Gevora Hotel

As of its opening in 2018, the Gevora Hotel currently holds the record of the tallest hotel in the world with a height that is slightly taller than the previous record holder at 356 m(1,169 ft). This 4-star hotel took around 12 years to be fully completed.

This hotel has 528 rooms available spread across 75 floors with other facilities such as restaurants and a pool for you to swim. The hotel is owned by Ahmed Abdul Rahim Al Attar Properties and it cost them a whopping $140 million to build.
