7. Balåifossen (850 Meters)
Balåifossen is the 7th tallest waterfall in the world and also second in Europe. It is located in Hordaland, Norway with a height of 850 meters(2,788 ft) which is taller than most skyscrapers out there.
The river Balai receives its water from the melting of Kyrelvfjellet and including the small glacier Onen(at an altitude of 1,600 meters) and the sizeable lake of Langvatnet.
6. Vinnufossen (860 Meters)
It is a waterfall found in the Sunndalsøra village in Norway. It is the tallest waterfall in Norway and all over Europe.
With a height of 860 meters(2,821 ft), it is a part of the Vinnu river that flows from the Vinnufjellet mountain and originates from the Vinnnufonna glacier. Now you know where it got its name from.
5. Yumbilla Falls (896 Meters)
Yumbilla Falls or as the locals called them Catarata de Yumbilla is found in the Amazon rainforest of Peru. It is the fifth tallest waterfall in the world at a height of 896 meters(2,939 ft) which is 66 meters taller than the Burj Khalifa.

Despite its tall size, the volume of water that flows here is not that huge and it comprises four or five sections or drops.
4. Olo'upena Falls (900 Meters)
With a height of 900 meters(2,952 ft), the Olo'upena waterfall can be found northeast of Molokai beach in Hawaii and it is the 4th tallest waterfall in the world.
The waterfall formed from the short water flow and it is seasonal. It flows and falls at the side of one of the tallest cliffs in the world, in between Pelekunu valley and Wailau valley.

Even without a huge water flow, the Tres Hermanas is the third tallest waterfall in the world. It is located in the Otishi National Park in Junín province, Peru with a height of 914 meters.
It is a 3-section waterfall surrounded by a huge mountain range.

Angel Falls is the world's tallest uninterrupted waterfall with a height of 979 meters. The waterfall is located in the Gran Sabana portion of Bolivar State's Canima National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and drops over the edge of Auyán-tepui mountain.

This waterfall was named after Jimmie Angel, a U.S. aviator who was the first person to fly over the falls.
1. Tugela Falls (983 Meters)
Tugela Falls is a series of seasonal waterfalls found in Dransberg, South Africa. It is the tallest waterfall in the world with a height of 983 meters and it can easily be seen after rainfall from the roadway and the Royal Natal National Park.
Some might argue about its true height which is officially 948 meters(3,110 ft) but a Czech scientist decided to measure it again and found that the fall is 983 meters tall. The source of this waterfall comes from the Mont-Aux-Sources plateau.
