The most expensive book in the world ever sold will be the Book of Mormon for a staggering $35 million. It was bought by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in 2017.

The Book of Mormon contains religious texts with regard to the Latter-Day Saint movement containing writings of ancient prophets living in the American continent from 600 BC to 421 AD.
