5. Luxury Bridal Show Cake ($20 Million)

Every year, the Luxury Bridal Show in Beverly Hills, California will organize one of the most outstanding wedding ceremonies out there. In 2006, they decided to use one of the most expensive cakes ever for the wedding theme.

The art of the cake was designed by Nahid Parsa and it includes sparkles of gold and diamonds on top of the cake. The full cake was estimated to be $20 million and according to sources, it was unknown whether that was made to be sold or has been sold during the show.

4. Diamond Gala Devorah Rose Cake ($30 Million)

The editor's chief of Social Life Magazine, Devorah Rose loves to organize expensive festivals and the cake that was made for the Diamond Gala proves everything. Devorah found the creator of the Cake Boss reality show and requested them design a cake worth $30 million.

The cake was for the party and the Cake Boss team managed to pull it off as requested by Devorah which include precious stones placed around the 4th most expensive cake in the world.

3. Pirate Fantasy Cake ($35 Million)

In 2012, Chef Dimuthu Kumarasinghe has broken the record for the most expensive cake in the world. The cake was shaped like a pirate ship which includes the treasures on board comprising various gemstones and layers of gold.

However, these decorations cannot be eaten and only the layers of chocolate, pumpkin, and lemon were considered edible. The cost of the cake with the treasures on board amount to $35 million.

This record only last for a few months before it was taken over by the next cake on our list.

2. National Gay Wedding Show Cake ($52 Million)

The National Gay Wedding Show cake broke the previous record held by the Pirate Fantasy Cake. It all happened in 2013, during the National Gay Wedding Show in Liverpool where they hired a baker named CAKE to design a special cake for the show.

It is comprised of 8 layers with a height of 1.5 meters and had more than 2,000 diamonds inside out. The cake was estimated to have cost a whopping $52 million and it remains the second most expensive cake on our list.

A couple living in the United Arab Emirates(UAE) did not have the intention of breaking any world record when they ordered one of the most unique cake in conjunction with their daughter's birthday event.

However, the exact thing happen when a cake designer, Debbie Wingham received a call in 2015 that changed her life forever. Debbie created the cake to look like a fashion show with a size of 183 cm long together with models wearing different clothes and accessories which all of them can be eaten.

There are also different gemstones that were used on the cake including gemstones worth $45 million. This world record holder of the most expensive cake sits at $75 million.
